PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
Establish deadlines with editorial department, freelance photographers and writers and assign editorial and clientdesign projects. Brief team of designers, photographers and freelance creatives on projects and deadlines.

Prioritize workload and delegate tasks accordingly to manage stress and pressure to meet deadlines. Hold biweekly production meetings to keep up on marketing trends and new developments in the media. 

Create mood bards and sketches to communicate ideas to pitch to the publisher. Motivate team of designers to persevere and communicate fresh visual concepts.

Hold monthly meetings to set deadlines and schedules to hold departments accountable. Work with Editor to update deadlines for our three publications, Yellow Scene,Home&Hood and Colorado Brides and Babies.

Schedule and coordinate company interviews for sales, production, editorial, finance and HR and provide relevant feedback from all parties included in the interview process.

Train and advise new employees in all departments on company policies and procedures.
Create the opening production report at the beginning of each cycle, mark each client with appropriate notes and process ads accordingly. 

Create web banners for clients and update to companiesword press site monthly. Update backend database with client information and speculation ads. 

Hold monthly after-action meetings with production and editorial teams to discuss processes and communication. Relay hold-ups and successes in deadline process at staff meetings for discussion with other departments to update and modify procedures.

CLIENT-BASED DESIGN
Integrate hand drawn art and social trends appropriatelyinto advertisements. Present concepts to clients and incorporate changes, accepting rejection and criticism and adapt concepts to clients and publisher’s needs.

Contact clients for changes to Yellow House designs to prevent miscommunication.

Create board by hand for press date, marking ad space and editorial space and place ads bysize onto board according to editorial context.

Update dummies with editorial content, design and structure editorial features according to the opener design.
